Anger Management London – How Long is the Course?
The anger management course length is adjusted to your need. You can expect to attend for between 4 and 10 sessions. Each session is 50 minutes long. The number of sessions depends on how deep your issues are and how motivated you are to change. We recommend that to begin with you attend weekly, so that you can get to grips with the issues underlying your anger and make significant changes. After 3, 4 or 5 weeks you can spread sessions out to fortnightly and then monthly if needed. You are free to stop attending anger management sessions with Anger Management London at any point, with no further financial obligation.
Anger Management London – What will We Do During Anger Management Sessions?
During your first session at Anger Management London Daren will ask you to share what has happened that has resulted in your wanting to attend a course in anger management coaching/counselling. He will share his approach with you, and explain some of the basic skills he will want you to learn. You will both get a sense of whether you can work together successfully. If you and Daren are both happy after the first session, then you can book some more sessions.
During your ongoing sessions at Anger Management London you will:
– Look at incidents that have happened, both in the past and since the previous session. You will explore what was going on for you as your anger built, and what you might have been able to do differently at different points.
– Look at how you were thinking as your anger built, how that influenced the outcome, and how you can change your thinking.
– Be helped to find other ways to express yourself other than through outbursts of anger.
– Investigate the relationship you have with people with whom you most often experience anger. You will understand what is going on for you in relation to those people and how you might relate to them in a way that reduces your anger.
